Massive in size and scale, Amazon’s newest fulfillment center in Colorado Springs is making an impressive footprint near the city’s airport. The project represents a sizable investment by the online retail giant in a market that is not already well established in the air logistics space. The fulfillment center is part of the 900-acre Peak Innovation Park and is expected to be over 640,000 square feet in size and is create over 1,000 new full-time jobs in the area. 

The building has topped out in height as crews work to complete the steel scaffolding structure and begin to install the exterior facade elements.

The site is situated near the Southeast corner of S. Powers Blvd and Milton E. Proby Parkway, just minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport. Construction on this massive project is expected to wrap up in 2021, We’ll be revisiting this project as it nears completion so stay tuned for upcoming construction updates.
