Construction on The Broadstone at Bowles Crossing, a new four-story multifamily development in Littleton has topped out and is set to bring density and housing options to an area better known for big box retail and expansive parking lots. The project, designed by Parikh Stevens Architects stands out in the southwest suburban market by offering shopping and recreation options to residents well within walking distance.

The development is set to span across two buildings connected by an overhead bridge – the space in between will serve as a “main street” and include access to outdoor courtyards. While construction crews are still erecting the structures frame, the scale of the development, and it’s eventual impact on the area is now becoming apparent.

The project is situated on the north end of the Bowles Crossing retail center near the intersection of W. Bowles Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard, just across the street from Southwest Plaza mall and the Raccoon Creek Golf Course. The property, managed by Vestar, has been at the center of investment efforts with the recent completion of a full exterior renovation of the existing structures and an expansion adding retail storefront space for several new tenants.

We’re looking forward to revisiting this project upon completion for an update post, in the meantime, share your thoughts on this project in the comments below.

We will soon look like downtown Denver.
Whatever happened to the small town feeling and all of the agricultural properties in this area.
